🌍 Carbon capture. For a long time, this buzzword felt like just another excuse for fossil companies to keep business as usual — pointing to “future tech” instead of taking real action against global warming. 🔥

But my view has changed. 💡
We do need to develop efficient carbon capture techniques.…
Carbon Capture and Utilization – Part I
A conference on Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) inspired me to explore the importance of CO2 fixation for a carbon-neutral future. CCU technologies not only capture carbon but also utilize it for products we rely on, offering a sustainable alternative to fossil resources and addressing climate challenges effectively.

The challenges we face with #climatechange are diverse — and so are the possibilities to tackle them!

Did you know that nature has seven different ways to #fixCO₂ into biomass? 🌿
Most people only talk about #photosynthesis, but there’s so much more happening behind the scenes. Check it out!
Biological Carbon Fixation – 7 Different Ways
Natures 7 Ways to fixate CO2 The CO2 in our atmosphere becomes an increasing problem. Planting trees won't cut the cake anymore. But do other mechanisms exist in nature that convert CO2 into biomass? Into something we can use? There are actually seven different pathways found in nature that do that! And many of them are super energy efficient! You would be surprised to see where plants rank.

I truly believe that making #labprotocols publicly available is a cornerstone of transparent and #reproducible science! 🔬✨

Protocols naturally evolve over time. By tracking your protocols with Git and sharing them on GitHub, you help other people understand your research much better! #OpenScience
Lab Protocols with GitHub
Creating a GitHub repository for lab protocols enhances organization, transparency, and collaboration, enabling researchers to maintain version control and share procedures efficiently, overcoming initial learning hurdles.
