Was on the boat dock in St. Albans Bay, VT today. A Great Blue Heron landed next to some people fishing, watched the water for a while, walked across the dock, then flew away. I've never seen a heron so casual around people fishing, guessing it wasn't its first time there. #birds #birdphotography

This morning, I saw this osprey dive and snag a big fish in St. Albans Bay, Vermont. The fish was so big, the osprey couldn't fly with it. I watched it try and try and eventually swim all the way to shore with the fish. Estimating it swam about 250 feet. #birds #wildlife
