I've cleaned, tidied & polished my flat to within an inch of its life. Nothing makes you look at your place through someone else's eyes like an imminent inspection.

I was listening to a poetry programme on BBC radio recently, and noticed that they don't say "pwims" any more. Whatever happened to "pwims"? They've gone back to saying "poems", just like normal people.

Just been to the dentist for repair to a tooth that was falling to bits. The dentist tells me that I have an even displacement which, apparently, is a good thing. I may be old, fat and ugly, but - hey - when it comes to displacements, nobody's is more even than mine 😊

Needed to make a remotely-triggered, wireless strobe lighting setup that would fit underneath an umbrella and light the subject's face from above, as evenly as possible. Works fine. Trouble is, it weighs a ton!
