The VA saved my stepdad’s life by catching the aortic aneurism he had (which had killed his dad at the same age, yay genetics) and performing the necessary surgery. It can be awesome, if funded and available, which it should be without question.

His humans will have to keep the corn well out of his reach unless under supervision in the future, but then when humans leave food within reach of dogs it is THEIR fault, not the dog’s.

That being said I didn’t and don’t have any of those and when my mom heard about some that came along after I was an adult she was sad that they didn’t exist when I was a kid. I got all my shots.

I mostly grew up in the middle of Texas. I am 49 and still get unreasonably excited about crossing state lines in a car, even if I am now no more than 3 hours from several.
