In the real world, polar bears live in the Arctic! They're technically marine mammals!

However, in the Pokemon world, Beartic can freeze water with its breath, so it can lie down and take a break from swimming!

Beartic and Polar Bears

These bears are super tall. Both stand at 2.5-2.6 metres. Beartic is able to freeze its own breath. Polar bears can sniff out prey up to 32km away. Both are very protective and ferocious bears. Beartic has bluish-white fur. Polar bears have black skin so heat from sunlight can be absorbed.
