Selhurst would not be this quiet in this situation.

Interesting watching Fulham with quick skilful players. Remember those?

Since he’s left, Joa has played like a guy who lost his ambition and cashed in. His career, his choice. Just an observation.

Robin Smith was my first favourite cricketer. Mainly because he was the first one I saw hit on the head by a bouncer (v Windies 1989/90) and played on. As a 9 year old I was impressed

In 1992, at 11, I saw him play for Hants v Pakistan. I asked him for his autograph. He said “fuck off”

Still, RIP!

I would've taken a poor pass attempt to Muñoz or a shot into the side netting like Mateta's earlier that half over what happened on Sunday. It would've been good process even if it didn't result in a goal. Sigh.

If they're not going to back the best manager we've ever had after winning a major trophy and getting into Europe, then when are they? May as well just resign ourselves to successfully treading water until one day the charm runs out and we're back in the championship

Spot on

He hasn’t been backed. Like Roy & Vieira before him, he’s been given the bare minimum to get by window to window

Unlike Roy and Vieira, he’s a winner, has appeal elsewhere and provided success which should have led to backing, however it happened. It should have been a £100m window.
Oliver Glasner would have realised by now that the Crystal Palace hierarchy sells a project of dreams, only for those supposed ambitions to remain a fantasy.

The best manager in the club’s history deserves better. Column on Glasner and the future. #CPFC

The players look knackered

The gap between starters and bench in terms of ability is huge

We should have a 3-4 signings January

Will we?

Some of us said it at the. The club got it wrong.

Eddie better up his game because today he undid our whole shape. Let alone the miss
Oliver Glasner on Ismaila Sarr's injury: We all have to assess him further but the ankle is quite swollen so I think he will miss a few games. Maybe we won’t see him again before the Afcon.

Switching off for 2 set pieces is not good enough at this level. Basic
November 30, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Nketiah has had a decent season this time around. But today he had an hour and was awful. You can pinpoint the team’s drop off to when he came on for Sarr.

This is on the board as much as anyone. Not giving the manager a fair squad with this number of games was a huge risk.

First time in ages I’m leaving Selhurst pissed off at how we played. Second half was diabolical.

JP has been excellent with his back to goal. It’s a key part of our shape.

Players look knackered. Assume Hughes soon and Devenny later

Bit of overconfidence around the fans today - it’s still a set of good players at United, they’ve had 3 extra days off before us too. This will be hard, we cannot be wasteful.
November 30, 2025 at 11:11 AM
If it’s a game we should have won by 3 or 4 in which we’ve missed some excellent chances, how is it that some are saying we played poorly?

From the TV, I think we played fine-well but the finishing was extremely poor.

I think winning the FA cup has given me a big level of chill when we lose. I’m not getting angry
November 27, 2025 at 9:58 PM
This is genuinely better than not being able to create anything. I know it won’t feel like that
November 27, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Typical Palace
November 27, 2025 at 9:44 PM
IIRC the last time a central midfielder scored for us (when playing CM) was under Roy.

Must be a bet at this stage with that miss.
Think that Wharton miss was worse than the one from Sarr. Just can’t be missing 2 open goals in a game.
November 27, 2025 at 9:30 PM
That kind of hold up play from JPM is as valuable as any goal. Perfect for this team
