If you want it and will wear it then do it.

I was so tempted to head to the leather section in Belstaff as do love some of their brown casual jackets but resisted as not sure that would get the wear it deserves.

Not a chance although I only came here to say using a dryrobe for that has a pass.

If you’re seen at the match on it then you lose all rights.

Unsurprisingly there was no temptations for me at Cheshire Oaks.

Clarks had loads of Originals (at full RRP) and plenty I could have bought at Sunspel.

I am however happy with my M&S Ecru Japanese denim at £60. Having to be delivered as they didn’t have my waist/leg combo in store.

Today is including a trip to Cheshire Oaks.

I’m just along for the ride but tomorrow marks my full year without buying a coat and next week is year without new shoes.

Can I survive the temptations ahead of me?

I stumbled on this in my phone so thought I’d share it.

Artist credited bottom right.

Now, that is an advantage and reason to buy (double).

Things may have changed but when I first saw a pair I asked in the store.

If these have a Goretex lining then is the suede protected.

The answer was no but you can buy that from us separately. I know that and use it to protect from beer swills but they make as much sense as a duck billed platypus.

I only recently heard about the Sunspel store so that is on my list.

As is the M&S over the road as there is something that looks promising online.

We’re there to buy shoes for my wife really so will check the Clarks Originals.

I struggle with Goretex and Suede.

It’s like oil and water or, back in the early 80s, Nike and adidas. They just don’t mix.

It’s rainwear or dry weather clothing for me. Don’t start me on Goretex Suede trainers.

I bought a Burberry short mac from there for £40 but that was many years ago.
bluemonkeyduck.bsky.social
That’s the level of bargain I do like.
bluemonkeyduck.bsky.social
Ha ha…you can hope.

Yeah, my wife has a bit of a liking for a good quilt cover!

Thanks.

I’m only a little upset I can’t find the orange hat print on a bag.
bluemonkeyduck.bsky.social
I’m pretty sure it’s you that’s bought a bag that captures the vibe you’re aiming for this winter.

Other than cute, what are they?

Almost like a wookie/ewok mix.

2 years since we brought this girl into our house.

I think it’s safe to say she feels at home.

Coach was 58 when he started in Cheers.

Yeah…this place is quiet comparatively but quality is always better than quantity.

I’m no longer working so don’t need to pop on during the day to waste time anymore though.

They’re getting proper cosy together nowadays.

In reality they’re just jockeying for position with the human.
bluemonkeyduck.bsky.social
Eh up.

All’s cool over here. I’m not on as much as I used to be on Twitter but it’s a far nicer place than X!

Good to see you on here and hope to see more of you.
