the weird geometry of the place is due to me getting sick of making tile sprites, and it gives the appearance of it being inside-out, which is kinda cool i think.
The character "Um" is pajama's uboa. i had a nightmare that featured its face as a jumpscare and i knew it could be useful.

The Grid is heavily inspired by season 1 of ENA. it will be smaller in the final update. i needed something to represent computers and i needed something that wasn't just popups and bluescreens.

in Sweet Beach (formerly pride beach), there used to be a bunch of muscle-bound mannequins with the colors of different pride flags. the idea was fine, but i removed them because:
1. The sprites were traced.
2. They were buff to a degree that made me uncomfortable a while after their creation.

False Reflection is heavily inspired by this scene in Hallucigenia. Red, black, and white are a recurring motif in ynfg's in general, so i thought i'd pitch in while also giving pj a bit of personality in the process.

lava lamp forest was the absolute worst world to make, the tiles had to line up perfectly for all sorts of positions, and there are still a couple errors i will never fix because i'm petty.

the warps in the nexus are supposed to be the objects in his bedroom, so that's a remnant of that idea. one of my Uneven Dream worlds, Lamp Dimension, is a parallel to Lamp Desert in pajama. i made Dimension first and didnt know what to replace it with in pajama, so i just made the maps different.

second is the nexus. if you look in the files, you can see unused assets relating to it being an uboa-fied version of pj's bedroom, like when you initiate the event in yume nikki. pj's lover was going to be the uboa itself, hiding in the corner. then i realized all that clutter looked bad.
