Thereβs also a sentiment I hear over and over: if they leave the Twin Cities, theyβll just visit the same terror and violence on other Americans. So that makes it hard for this to feel like an outright victory.

- Nobody here trusts a word the Feds say. Folks will believe it when they see it.

So most of my family has been in the US for quite a long time. The branch of my family that I'm particularly interested in is my great grandfather's paternal branch. It kind of dead ends, but we know my great-great grandfather was from Norway. He came to America then left and went back to Norway.
