Pretty orange cat isn't interested in the Hersheys Grinchmas chocolates, but his human finds them vastly amusing. Happy Caturday from my herd. I do knitting for cat rescues, mostly Newfoundland style hats & mittens. I have a load to take to a rescue down Yarmouth, NS way, and was winding yarn while Herby 'helped'. He approves of my work. #myfavouritebreedisrescue #adoptdontshop #blueskycats
My bad tabby kitty is sprawled on the table where I wind yarn. He makes it challenging. Beside him is a multi-wood, stand alone swift, which holds the skein while I wind it. Bad tabby cat approving a few patterned wool hats in many colours and different designs, for a cat rescue. Standalone swift holding a skein of custom-dyed wool yarn, ready to be wound into a cake or puck.

HerbyBells the wicked but sweet tabby oversees most everything I do, from editing work to cooking and baking. He never begs for food, just wants to be with me. Newfoundland snowballs are a mixture of butter, milk, sugar, cocoa, oatmeal and unsweetened fine coconut. Always popular at bake sales.

My lovely but not-bright pale ginger tuxedo, Sandy Goldeneyes Fraidy Cat, has a fresh YOW catnip mouse and he defies anyone to take it from him. A bug-eyed tabby is sitting on a counter underneath a yarn swift. This holds a skein of yarn still and untangled while I wind it into a cake on the yarn winder. Herby likes to help. This is not helpful but he persists.

Her greeneyed worshipfulness, the dilute calico Cassie Marie Growltiger is lounging on top of the buffet cabinet. Her hind end seems to have gone missing in this picture but it IS there, in all its floofiness. Another greeneyed kitty, this one Herby the Badass Tabby, lounges with my coffee mug and an orange, and ipad for good measure. He doesn't eat oranges and doesn't read poetry, but it's a relaxed Sunday morning here for sure.
