I’m taking a course this week-Agriculture in the Classroom. My hope is that it helps me lead our school through adventures in school gardening and thinking about how we can help students deal with food insecurity through teaching them life skills. #sketchnotes #agriculture #adventuresinteaching

We added a few nsyilxcən words this week as we reflected on our learning adventures in the falling snow. I really loved seeing the excitement on students faces as they took on playground time as builders of snow creations or tried sit spots in the snow. #learningfromtheland #outdooreducation
Be okay with making mistakes and learning from them. We are all learners on a journey towards being the best versions of ourselves.
The time of snow is here! First snow is always exciting and I love how the land is still. The silence is relaxing.
We signed up at the end of the last school year to become a Wild School. Even the ideas within the website are great places to start and also CBEEN (cbeen.ca/workshops/) has free webinars for outdoor educators. www.hctfeducation.ca/programs/
