An illustration of my original characters Viridian and Megaera. They’re both in a snowy forest at dawn and seperated by two panels. Viridian on the top has a concerned look on his face while Megaera on the bottom has a shocked look with a tear rolling down her right eye. Viridian’s panel is more brighter with the sun shining fully on him while Megaera’s in the shadow, with only a little bit of sunlight falling in from the right. On the ride there’s an extra panel of Viridian grasping onto Megaera’s wrist which is coloured in a light orange gradient.

Today my journal does not contain lessons or discoveries but only my personal day. It is a good exercise for my ageing mind to keep a note of what I do but also a distraction of my academic duties. Today it is snowing here at the academy and, I must say, it reminds me of when I myself as a young student would get as excited as a child at the sight of the white blanket. It is a joy that changes little over time and pleasantly surprises me. Now i returns to my obligations, to prepare my lessons for next week. The winter break is approaching and one simply must prepare oneself. I will spend the rest of the evening in my study. I should make myself a cup of tea._
