Submitting my penultimate dissertation draft on Friday, spent all day working on it but unsure if I made it better or worse?

Powered through the edits and got in my last postdoc app until January. I deserve a sweet treat (wine, it’ll probably be wine)

Travel days are always so weird. Do I try and get a lot of work done? Do I just surrender to the pre-airport anxiety, finish packing and just hang around until it’s time to go?

Few things are as soothing as this, pets really make things less terrible

Posting this for accountability: I will actually try and get some amount of work done on my dissertation today

I also have an incredibly fluffy cat that keeps me company as I write, her name is Buffy and is far more interesting than me
