Another enjoyable day at Kerstbier festival Essen. Back in Mechelen at Het Maanlicht, a very cosy brown bar with ± 70 beers. Many are local. Three Gouden Carolus beers on draught, including Christmas. Stille Nacht & St Bernardus Xmas bottles. Draught Circus Winter is good enough to have a second.

Den Stillen Genieter is a very brown bar with a huge list of beers including six Christmas beers on draught. Three minutes walk from my hotel. Gordon Xmas to start.
