One of my favourite water #birds is this ❤️#GreatCrestedGrebe. I can photograph it all day long, but at Midday, with that harsh and burning sun, you have to get a bit creative sometimes to take a nice picture. Hope you won't mind... #PodicepsChristatus #BirdsInLatin #Birding #Wildlife #Photography

No, they are maybe half the size of a Buzzard, more like a Eurasian Hobby or a Eurasian Sparrowhawk. Beautiful and fierce birds and very good flyers as well.

Black-winged Kite accidentally landed on a shrub with berries.
Its wings are widely spread, as it tries to keep its balance.

Thumbs up for this brave juvenile #Kingfisher.
It flew against a window and was quite groggy for a while. So, it rested well in my hand. Unfortunately, it wouldn't fly anymore, so I took it to a #bird #sanctuary the next day, where it will probably fully recover #AlcedoAtthis #BirdsinLatin #Birding
