Go look up the ‘Classic Albums’ series of documentaries. in them, you’ll hear snippets of the music in question im sort of different stages of ‘undress’ as engineers remove or solo out particular tracks in the mix. this makes for some unusual and sneaky sampling opportunities

There’s much to say about generative systems in music: it’s central 2 Brian Eno’s recent works, & has been a point of fascination 4 me in my compositions for at least the last 3 years.

Listening to the Rangers/Sharks game… What a weird trip to be hearing JT Miller’s name in a NY Rangers broadcast and not Chris Kreider.

Listening to the Rangers/Sharks game… What a weird trip to be hearing JT Miller’s name in a NY Rangers broadcast and not Chris Kreider.
Being on the west coast with the inconvenient time diff is bad enough but it’s hard to continue to love a team when you lose players so close to your heart

I’m not sure if subsequent studies have born this out, but at one point I was told that the making of the Easter Island Moai was an attempt at… let’s call it metaphysical benefit. However, in making the rollers, sledges, and other tools needed, the process was an ecological disaster.
