This just appears as blatant antisemitism with aims of erasing Irish Jews and Irish Jewish history completely which is even more stark considering theres a statue of a Nazi collaborator still standing without issue

It was brewed at The Porterhouse way back when, and said so on the back label. Not for a while now, though.

Can’t find any hard proof that Brennan’s Irish Stout has ever been brewed in Ireland, only that the company is Irish and based in Wexford, incorporated in May 2019, does not appear to hold a valid excise brewer licence in Ireland.

The absolute state of this. 'From the Heart of County Wexford' and 'A family tradition since 1905' implies to the consumer that it's brewed in that county and has been around that long. Theakston Brewery should be hanging their head in shame for these shenanigans, as that's where it's brewed ...

I think it was contract brewed here in the past? They have previously claimed to have a brewery in Courtown on their website. They never did of course ...

A councillor has renewed calls for a community toilet scheme in Dublin city centre. Council officials say they’ve already tried and it flopped. So how have towns elsewhere managed to set them up?

Article is right on emissions & indoor air risks,framing is off,assumes daily Nordic-style use.In Ireland many use stoves only occasionally,with rural homes relying on them more. Real issues are wet fuel,old stoves &. heavy users. Policy needs balance & realism
www.irishtimes.com/environment/...
We have to talk about home heating
Up to 55% of fine particulate matter emitted by newer logwood stoves comprises black carbon, as toxic as that emitted from diesel engines

Happy to contribute to this debate, population of 120K in Blanch region requires more attention than currently receives.
Does existing LA system serve D15 residents best, or could it be better?
A town council may meet the gap?
@925phoenixfm.bsky.social ?
#blanchardstown
Would Blanchardstown benefit from having a town council? The current programme for government says it will “establish town councils in large towns to provide a focal-point for raising concerns of towns”.
