It's easier said than done because it's not an over night thing and there will be times where your emotions will get the best of you but as long as you don't give up on what you enjoy doing it will eventually come and I say that as someone who is still trying myself (6/?)

All I can really say on the matter is that if you feel strongly about this then you have to some degree accept that you might have to get a little annoying in order to get your stuff in front of eyes. Repost, send in discords with self promo channels, make friends in the community (5/?)

So it's a mixed bag of people keeping to themselves, looking when they wanna look and also just not seeing it all with caution because especially in this community there is a lot of weirdos out there that'll just ruin it for everyone else, it's so many different things and it all sucks. (4/?)

There are some folk out there that didn't really learn or were taught how to properly handle situations where you don't get that acknowledgement because either they get too much or not enough of it and they end up becoming attention seekers to which we witness the worst of online. (3/?)

Further more we are human beings and it is built into us from a young age to seek acknowledgement from our peers when we create or do something to the best of our abilities problem with that is there are a lot and I mean a lot of negatives to that as a whole. (2/?)

Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time
