Rhapsody in Blue- I'm very proud of my hedge. Sloes are the fruit of the blackthorn tree, native to Ireland and found in hedgerows and wild areas. The berries are traditionally harvested in late autumn, after the first frost, for use in making sloe gin, jellies, jams, and wines.

That's lovely. I feel your pain. 2 days under kitchen sink 40mm isn't 40mm anymore hoping some old timer hardware has a length of old sized pipe you could just wedge a fitting on. Next helpful person that tells me you could just use a compression fitting I'll strangle no I couldn't I have no room.
