but after the grueling martlet part of the story I found solace in starlo. much more likeable. the arc where his friends question his facade was really sweet and his dynamic with clover and ceroba was even better. the various missions felt kinda dragged though. like board 3

martletsucks. she's trying too hard to be papyrus. I get how some people could like her but I just can't stand her annoying way of clinging to the rules. might just be an uncalled for hatred on my part but i tried to avoid going to the rooftop at the end so I could kill asgore with flowey instead

Dalv. cool guy. sort of filled the role of toriel, despite acting more like napstablook. he was relatively charming and kept me engaged with the story going forward.

rather than just have it surface at the end so abruptly. but the ending itself was great, and it was interesting to be stuck in "flowey's world" for more than just a boss fight. both versions (regular and big fucked up grey guy) of flowey's battle felt pretty faithful and well done.

he seemed to overuse phrases like "howdy" and other general terms, which kind of made the fake-friendly side of his character that he sticks with for most of the game pretty boring. it would've been more engaging to see his arrogance slip through the cracks throughout the game..

the intro was very promising, and it quickly gave you a lot of backstory for clover while sticking to the whole justice shtick which was neat

I found that the game really stuck by a lot of undertale's crucial lore elements such as flowey doing the saving and all, however..

going in i knew it was pretty high quality, but i had hesitated to download it just because fangames don't do it like my man toby does. in the end though, I think it was a worthwhile experience..
