wow so this is actually an entirely different show when it’s visible. i’m like sitting here in awe rn at the first hotel scene my god. and now i know what people meant when they said they took over an hour to watch one episode, bc they had things to keep going back to look at 😭
i’m so happy hbo turned the lights on because i KNEW i was missing something about their faces in this scene and holy fuck it was so much better than i could have expected
