4 years on my shelf later, I absolutely loved this adaptation. The illustrations were gorgeous. There were even little modern updates given that the graphic novel came out 20 years after the OG.

I wanted to read this because I liked Ali Hazelwood’s Bride…it wasn’t for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It is definitely of its era (00s paranormal romance) so if that’s your vibe here you go! If you don’t like non-con in darker romances though, I don’t recommend.
