Art, planet, universe, humanity, grow your own - you're gonna need it Briton, aethist, anti-greed, less is plenty. Anti-nimby, it's not yours, it belongs to your grandchildren. I limit how many I follow to reduce timeline clutter. Sorry.

1 simplifies

2 makes more secure
Brits being contrarian (again). Norway has had this for years and I can tell you 1) it simplifies everything from online banking to gov services enormously & 2) it is less of a threat to privacy because data are kept properly in one place instead of in tens of different places with varying security

See, I like Cadbury's and have never been keen on the high cocoa types. Even the cheap Christmas ones have to be really bad before I won't eat them 🤣

Aero orange, Fry's mint cream, though the latter is a bit sickly after the first few ... bars 😋
I have a chocolate weakness, too, but I restrict myself to those chocolate covered types as much as possible. Should really cut it out completely, but ... it's too difficult 😂

They and Lidl are very competitive.

P.S. I drink very little alcohol but a small bourbon and coke 😍

Well, I wondered about the Aldi chocolate after posting the above. Their chocolate is way cheaper than e.g. Cadbury, then the high-end varieties are in another dimension. Next time I go to Aldi, I'm gonna check out their ingredients.

Cutting costs is as much about maintaining market as profit
I get Aldi diet cola, think it's called 'X', 49p for a 2 litre bottle, but I get the cans at 3 times the price because I don't drink loads. Tastes like Pepsi max to me.

And their £15 bourbon.

Bourbon and 'X' tastes fine to me 👌
Chips and curry sauce is a British tradition, isn't it?

It's a British tradition to eat Carlin peas and Fava beans but you don't get the national-traditionalists banging on about going vegetarian do you?
It's because of the very high price of cocoa after several years of drought caused by climate change. Without changes to the content, the product would become unaffordable.

Trying to think how long it is since Wagon Wheels had to change the description but as I restrict myself to Aldi Cart Wheels 😂
I do. When she had the accident and said she had 4 days to live and it turned out to be, I'll say 'untrue', I thought at the time that she was suicidal. I did wonder if she had deliberately driven into the bus too but 🤷🏻‍♂️ we'll never know.

The poor woman's mental health was destroyed.
Aha here we go...
I see Nigel Farage is back to claiming he "predicted" the war between Russia and Ukraine in the EU Parliament, when in fact he spoke AFTER the annexation of Crimea, to defend Russia and claim it was all the EU's fault.

I did a full fact-check, with clips, here:

Gary Neville is sound 👌

The pitch invaders are the traitors, every last one of 'em
In 2014, furage reckons he stood up and said there 'will be a warm in Ukraine'

Is that because his boss, putin, gave him advance notice? 🤔
I've had the pleasure of being interviewed by Mishal Husain three times. One of the most intelligent and accomplished people I've ever met.

Here's Nigel Farage trying to shut her down with the words "Listen, love ..." like it was still the 1970s. I'd say it was unbelievable, only it isn't.

This is true of all troll accounts, big or small. Which is why the smart advice has always been: do not feed them.
Remember:

- they DO NOT CARE about your arguments/rebuttals

- they DO NOT CARE about your dunks

- the person running the accounts was specifically hired to drive engagement BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY; it’s the algorithm they’re catering to

This is a game, and to them you are data to be manipulated.
That's out of step with like 2 thirds of the country?? 🤷🏻‍♂️

NEW: Police knew a Kremlin spy ring recruited former leader of Reform Wales at least 3 years ago.

So why was Nathan Gill not charged till Feb this year?

Pls read part 2 of @thenerve.news special investigation into Nathan Gill. And please share!

Good point 👇
Given how much the China spy case has dominated headlines, it really does beg the question: why is our political-media class so uninterested in Nathan Gill, his Russian bribes, his once close associate Nigel Farage, and Reform UK?

Our new Byline Times edition investigates what the media won't 👇
It does say in that article that 75% of bird and bat boxes that should have been installed on housing developments failed to materialise.

Developers just take no notice. I reckon they put more effort into getting planning permission altered than delivering what they originally agree.
We need to stop listening to fools like junior here

What the Chinese spying case witness statements reveal

The Crown Prosecution Service appears to have made at least one serious error, while the government's position now makes sense

I blame reform and their sh1te-stirring too
👏 "We've lived here all our lives. And I have never felt so unwelcome in my own hometown as I do since your party came into Caerphilly."

"With all the rhetoric that you bring in, I have to say to my sons, please don't go there. Please don't do this."

"I blame you for that."
We live IN a 20mph zone, because of the schools in the area. The only time it's chaotic now is when ... the kids are dropped to school 🤷🏻‍♂️

Will see what it's like over the winter months but the spring-autumn period is significantly quieter.
A photograph of free-flowing automobiles in 20mph Wales, and the far-right nutters of Reform complaining about it.
How many children's lives has 20mph saved?
Fingers crossed 🤞 (though I have major doubts they'll do anything much)
Here it comes then. When Rachel said ‘no stand alone wealth tax’ at conference I felt that left wriggle room - it’s crying out to be done, we have enormous numbers of people in poverty and a tax system that takes more from them as a % than from people with an awful lot of money.
