Finding Siraan was a blessing in Gary's eyes. His wife sadly passed away before they could have a child of their own, so he raised Siraan with love and care as the daughter they both always wanted.

Dolor'es had a few moments but perhaps the most gut wrenching was the punishment that followed her failure to prove her faith, that I described in a previous post. I can't say what it was atm for number of reasons but it anchored fear in her heart for years to come (1/2)

Not anxiety but a true fear and everything that follows. Dread, despair, feeling of no way out, being stuck like a cornered rat. Heart seizes in the chest, thoughts race, blood turns to ice kind of fear.
