It costs ~$70 to produce a year’s supply of insulin.

Yet, the average annual cost of insulin went from $2,864 in 2012 to $5,705 in 2016 to $18,000 in 2025. A 25,714% markup. That isn’t inflation or supply chain—It’s corporate greed.

Now—California will sell insulin for $11. Make this nationwide!

To be clear:

LA County has declared a state of emergency BECAUSE OF the federal government.

The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.

This is a striking political moment of internal collapse. Local govts feeling compelled to protect their ppl from … their own govt.

Surrounded by Autumn color and reflection, I softened. The land, the water, the sky — all seem to whisper the same truth: we are not separate from this. We are part of a greater realization, turning our hearts and minds to the beauty found within Nature.

In the Samaria Gorge on the island of Crete, Greece, lies a very deep cave with a continual cold spring waterfall. To reach it, you have to swim about 100 meters in 10 degree (C) water. I spent time thinking about hypothermia I was so cold. Nice payoff tho.

I dunno, those cats look stoned. I wonder if some mischievous genius didn’t plant catnip there, and they’re all so over-stimulated and hungover?

Modern business is out to kill us all. Our post-industrial business model may be profitable for the business owner, but it is overwhelmingly a loss maker for equality, environment, climate and everything that lives and breathes on Earth
