I would offer to run phantasy star ttrpg for people but I both need a foundry license and a chunk of time to make a few changes before that is even a viable option, before considering my DM backlog

thinking about it is very funny that they introduced the ability to see which attacks are phys or magical in FFXIV, after they'd designed that difference out of the game as hard as they could without removing it lmao

My sympathies REALLY go out to the tank mains, all of those jobs just converged on being the exact same thing fundamentally with some quirky unique stuff that ultimately isn't all that quirky or unique anyway

SCH hasn't felt right since they got rid of the multiple dots, manual fairy actions, Shadow Flare and Cleric Stance. I'm willing to live without Cleric, but I never got over the loss of Shadow Flare... And the general streamlining of everything just harmed -every- job I played, except RDM.

I'm probably the only one who cares about this PSTTRPG stuff so much, but I'm grateful for everyone who reads what I post anyway :3

The Phantasy Star TTRPG is a very cool book but I keep reading the techs and getting annoyed at how copy-paste they are when I open it. A lot of this feels like the result of the designers being uncomfortable with 5e design, like they felt things like Ice Knife or Aid needed to exist mechanically.
