Writer, film critic, aspiring cosplayer. Your expert on all things Star Wars: The High Republic, Percy Jackson, and more.
Watching the Sea of Monsters movie just to see why I avoided it for over a decade. And… yeah there’s so much this film is mucking up as an adaptation it requires multiple drinking/Diet Coke games.

Though I must concede - Stanley Tucci isn’t awful as Dionysius.

You have to wonder: if Disney announces a Star Wars mystery series with Rian Johnson as showrunner, which voices would be louder? The happy Knives Out fans, or still embarrassingly angry Last Jedi haters?

Also Lucasfilm should definitely greenlight this pitch.

When a South Park parody ends up being the best indicator of reality.
i'm actually struck by how pete hegseth isn't just a cowardly man but a capital-c Coward. a guy who gets off on abusing and hurting people he thinks are weaker than him and then tries to run and hide when there might be consequences

One of my favorite films of the year. Which merely reinforces Knives Out as one of our best modern trilogies in recent memory.

I love watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But I also enjoy watching pundits hype up floats for IPs they probably haven’t watched - it’s funny.

I just rewatched the Thanksgiving sandwich clip from Friends. And all I heard was that Ross is 30… I’m 29!!!
It's not nice rewatching a show from my childhood about adults and realising I'm now much older than all the main characters.

You want to hold Trump and everyone accountable? Win the midterms next year and then do it immediately. Don't complain on social media - do stuff for once.

The 48 hours before Thanksgiving are a marathon of meal pre-prep, seasoning, and figuring out if any cranberries are left at the market. May the odds be ever in your favor.
