Wow. Sidney Reid, the DC woman just found not guilty of assaulting an FBI agent, issues a withering and gutsy statement on Trump through her attorneys.

"I feel sorry for the prosecutors really, who must be burdened by Trump's irrational and unfounded hatred for his fellow man."

It's a must-read:
Well she can eat a bag.
Did Kupin make it?
States like Maine want tools like the filibuster.
Mendacious Mike
Johnson: "Grijalva should be working for her constituents right now. I don't know what she's doing. I keep seeing their political stunt videos. She should be in her office. She should be working or in the district for her constituents" (Grijalva is not in fact a Rep. b/c Johnson refuses to seat her)
So the proper response to Burchett would be, "I guess you'd have to talk to Clarence and Ginny Thomas about paying protestors."
Who paid for the buses that drove the January 6 insurrectionists to Washington DC in 2021?

That’s $5 billion more than the entire annual USAID budget. All to one country. To rescue one friend of the president’s.
Trump found another $20 BILLION to give to Argentina, totaling their bailout to $40 BILLION.

Yet we can’t afford to prevent millions of Americans from losing their healthcare.

Shame.
She's not just saying.
It is intentional and it's obvious why.
Wow, what an asinine thing to say. Looks like they really trust their "homeland security" teams to terrorize the American people.

That’s crazy. I wonder what happened in January
There's a lot of "Don't look up" denialism going on with the Trump cult.
This feels a bit blasphemous, no?
Eric Trump: "We're saving Christianity. We've saving God. We've saving the family unit. We're saving this nation. I mean, DEI is out of the window, Benny. You no longer have Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the national anthem. You no longer have Budweiser going woke as hell. All of this is dead."
Olivia is using what is known as a straw man argument. A competent editorial team would tell her this isn't worthy of print.

For his first teaching, the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church opted to focus on the gap between the rich and the poor.

We dive deeper into the pope’s teaching, which calls into question some basic tenets of mainstream economics.
The pope calls on Catholics to take on economic inequality
Pope Leo XIV’s first teaching called on Catholics to engage with and help solve poverty.

TUR: Have you met with Mike Johnson?

JEFFRIES: No

TUR: Why not?

JEFFRIES: Donald Trump has not given him permission to meet, Katy and we know that until Donald Trump gives them permission to meet, they're going to continue to hide.

- It is legal to organize and fund protest.
- That someone organizes and funds promotion of a protest does not mean most, some, or any protesters are paid.
- Even if all protesters are paid, that is also legal
- It is good to oppose kings and fascism
- That's not what what "begs the question" means
Sean Duffy: "The No Kings protest, Maria, really frustrating. This is part of antifa, paid protesters. It begs the question who's funding it."
(And duh, this is not a call to violence though the problem with lawmakers doing illegal things and letting Trump break laws is that... well, why follow laws when they won't?)
Then we need to keep the pressure on the Republicans and find people who will hold them accountable.
Has anyone asked him? Seems relevant to things like government oversight and accountability
