Yay! I can share an experiment we did at work. Like lots of folks, we're curious about MCP servers and how they change the way we interact with traditional applications. My colleague James and I did an After Effects experiment!

I've always loved Tone.js, but always used it very surface level (just playing notes in real-time). Wasn't expecting to have a hard time playing back a sequence of notes in a timeline, but I did, so I wrote something up when I was in a good place benfarrell.com/blog/2024-12...

Sometimes I forget where I work, and while I'm at a "boring company off-site", we just got hit with the most amazing dose of weird, funny creativity. Needed that for sure!

I find myself on bluesky today reflecting on how when twitter got toxic, I backed off social media to get to know my IRL local art community. Great plan until I learned that I stumbled into something just as toxic. Yay me
