I got clouds integrated this weekend. Click the little cloud icon on the globe / map and you'll get that day's cloud cover.

👨‍🚀 For over 25 years now, there has always been someone in space, orbiting our planet every 90 minutes aboard the International Space Station 🛰️.
Now you can relive every day of this incredible journey thanks to Ben Feist and David Charney 🔗 issinrealtime.org

Thanks for the legwork. I’ll have a look.

I have been recording the pubic ISS telemetry stream and also got a dump from a colleague. I have it going back 7 years or so. You’re welcomed to it (PM me). You can also record it yourself with this repo I made. github.com/bfeist/ISS-t...

You read my mind :). I put that on the list of “next things to do when I feel like it”
Thanks for the heads up!
My friend, David Charney and I built this over the past year on evenings and weekends. We're excited to make it available to the public in time for the 25th anniversary of sustained human presence in space (Nov 2).

NASA guy uses telescope.
My late father left me his enormous 8” astrophotography telescope. I finally got it operational last night. Visual eyepieces only (camera gear pending). Managed to snap these pics through the eyepiece.
Hey there, I lead the creation of that website. Thanks for the post!

How does this happen?
I grew up in Guelph when there were no bike lanes, so I love the new bike lanes. However, if you are creating bike lanes for people, safety cannot be an afterthought. While it's great there will be no trucks in this bi-directional bike lane on Speedvale (@ Woolwich), this is an obvious hazard.
Rule: If you're in a NASA video, even only for a second, and even if you look like a dork, share it.

Great new film by NASA featuring some of the wonderfully talented people that I get to work with every day. We're working hard to prepare for our return to the Moon. This film shows just one aspect of those preparations.

In the science room, the mapping software you see on the video screen there is an application called Artemis EVA Geographical Information System (AEGIS), a project I'm the lead engineer on and have been building for the past couple of years.

I’m looking forward to being on @cbcradiocanada.bsky.social’s The Current around 8.30 am EST tomorrow to talk about the significance of @firefly-aerospace.bsky.social’s mission & what this means for lunar exploration, including for 🇨🇦 @westernuresearch.bsky.social
This sounds entirely awesome. I’d love to get that kind of search implemented on the website itself.
