So happy to see the @mtametronorth.bsky.social Holiday Lights Trains back this year, and we’re doubling the festivities, with a dual-mode diesel-electric train joining an electric train, so we’ll have Holiday Lights Trains all across the network!

The Holiday Lights Trains are back!
We'll be doubling the holiday spirit this year with the addition of a festive diesel train, bringing bright lights and spreading holiday cheer to even more stations!
These Holiday Lights trains will make their debut on Friday and run through New Year’s.

The wreath-hanging ceremony was moving and emotional, as it is each year, and having the chance to see the new Veterans locomotive on Track 27 was a big plus.
We celebrated our annual Veterans Day Wreath Hanging Ceremony this morning, honoring all those who served.
Our newest heritage locomotive—created and designed by Metro-North veterans—is on display at track 27 in Grand Central through tomorrow, entering passenger service at the end of the month.
