Oh haha my cursor is at the bottom and I have relative line numbers enabled. In vim it lets me jump directly to a line with ordinance to my cursor. In normal mode if I want to move up 10 lines I type "10k" and my cursor jumps right there. Basically if you use vim motions this helps a lot.

so i moved a bunch of stuff to my self hosted gitea instance and lots of things are just better. all around faster and more plesant to use. i can even share on-prem runners between repos! thats one of the most frustrating things github just doesnt let you do
