Not really. Games usually have simplified building mechanics which you need to learn instead of the real world mechanics. But with the courses you will learn to pay attention to architecture in general and might come up with cool designs for virtual houses

None. I usually find Gunrunner, but want to use Blademancer or Corpse seer. And when I find those I don't have points to get them.
I usually don't have points to get traits anyway or the garden is too far away
