i think both the underground yuri/GL networks of visibility/scanlating/word of mouth/transformative+"doujin circle" fan work creation and the aboveground yuri/GL networks of helping support the mangaka and purchasing JP chapters/vols both complement each other in an interlocked circulation

I’d personally recommend starting from the very beginning, since there are some key differences between the manga and the anime — same goes for Kakegurui Twin. Kakegurui Kari doesn’t have an adaptation, but I 100% recommend it; it’s honestly one of the best things that’s ever happened to the world.
