I taught school for 44 yrs.
I still tutor.

We always taught disaster drills.
But only in my last 15 yrs did we have to begin active shooter drills. The kids were so upset - just practicing. Many cried, & it was tough to get through it.

EVERY Congressperson should have to teach this drill 👍🤬🤬🤬

4) Uplifting. I told my parents & Dad said, "It's good you got to see. In America, we can attend ANY church we want, or choose NOT to."

We had many So. Baptist neighbors. A group of them yelled at school board mtgs - demanding NO MORE school dances...Mom & another two moms spoke to keep them...5)

3) Church. Those friends who came to my Church said, "You Lutherans kneel like Catholics", or, "your service is calm." I told them I didn't like the So. Baptist service bc "the preacher yelled & pounded his fist on the pulpit, & it was loud & too simple". Made me feel berated & was NOT ...4)
