We’re deeply frustrated that the government has missed its own deadline to appoint a Freelance Champion. Freelancers power the UK’s creative industries yet once again their voices risk being sidelined. We need action, not delay. Freelancers deserve proper representation now. bit.ly/49xAVVM

The Employment Rights Bill passing is great news but we recognise that many creative freelancers will not feel the benefits.

We will continue to campaign for improved rights for all creative workers including freelancers & the self-employed.
The Employment Rights Bill is now the Employment Rights Act, bringing a host of new rights for workers and trade unions. This is a historic moment and we’re proud to have played our part, working with the govt & other political parties to strengthen the law and ensure it works for our members.
