According to a street art website, The Whitby Street Lady was painted in 2018 by Jimmy C., an Australian Street artist.

I don’t believe in God, but “agnostic” is the right word for me. I think in life you just have to handle everything on your own. That said, I’d still like to believe that angels exist — and that I could fall into their arms. ☺️ (the romantic in me...)

Well, I knew about this song because it's in the intro of Peacemaker season 2 (a great cultural TV series 👀). The melody kind of stuck in my head. The video is silly, but knowing that the singer tells his young son that life is a bitch, yet he’ll always be there for him... that really touched me.

Opened in 1710, St. Paul’s Cathedral has hosted many significant events — Churchill’s funeral, the jubilees of Queen Elizabeth II, and the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. I love how London's historic buildings match my main color! Red clay was abundant, and after the Great Fire of London in 1666, the use of fire-resistant red brick was encouraged. Their video is a bit over the top (😀), but as always, when you read the lyrics… you can see the sadness and the optimism at the same time.
As for the Nick Cave song, the lyrics are beautiful… though I still wish a real angel would hold me in her arms... 😳

So Susan died at 18 months more than a century ago. Her faithful dog still guards her remains. Her little angel lost a wing at the same time, but it's okay, as we're pretty sure Susan has grown in a place we don't know of. Otherwise, it would be too sad of a story. #Photography #London
