people who know me know i've rolled credits in the likes of wanted: dead and TRAG, and with that fact in mind, i gotta gove this demerit once more to

lords of the fallen 2024. never has a game challenged my understanding of my own tolerances for a game being that bad without me quitting somehow

oh yeah i had to look it up and i was on the right track, but was one attempt short on picking the same menu option over and over to progress her questline

at least a friend gave me some of goldmask's gear, since you have to replay THE ENTIRE GAME if you don't do his questline in time to get it

it's wild to me whenever i see AI voice used for a game with a PS1 aesthetic. it's an audiovisual style only matched by early 2000s eurojank in being associated with amateur voice acting. the worse you are, the more authentic it is

it especially kills me when they use it for something that had to easier than everything else they pulled off without it. feels like they looked at the sound department or whatever and said "who fucking cares" at the very end
