I just finished an amazing book. WALKING TOWARD PEACE, by Cindy Ross (Mountaineer Press, 2021). It chronicles the healing stories of veterans through hiking and experiencing the outdoors (ecotherapy). In addition to the stories of healing, the book includes snippets from research into the benefits

We played that right yesterday. The weather was mild so we went for a hike at Big Sioux Recreation Area (we enjoyed seeing the fungi on the trees along the trail).

And today, there’s 4” of snow on the ground!
