I think, as fans, we know what a privileged position he was in and, at times, it felt like he was mocking the people who pay their hard earned money and spend their time travelling the length and breadth of the country supporting the team.

Plus it was hard to watch some of the “football”.

Never wanted him. Never liked him.
Never liked his style of play.

Thankful what he did for us until his final season when he downed tools and waited to be sacked for the massive payoff he was due. He also constantly talked down our status as a club and mocked our fanbase.

Was going to say he’s more Pienaar than Arteta for me. Pienaar was a natural and used to glide with the ball. Arteta was a bit of a show pony who would try and beat his man three or four times before giving it away instead of having an end product.
