Too much hate in the world. Let's make it more kind 😊
When the travestys of the world feel inescapable, just stop and look at the sky. We're in this together, you and I.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Fellas. I get it. January, new year new me. It does not take 25 literal minutes on the only machine for that exercise. Please be mindful of others.

So fascinated by the human impulse to be like 'wow, this food sanitation practice really improved the quality and safety of food, what an amazing development, we should definitely stop doing it.'

At the National Prayer Service, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde delivered a heroic, spontaneous act of rebellion—a sermon calling for mercy for immigrants and LGBTQ+ people. Naturally, Donold and his cult are big mad. Let’s break it down.

i love hearing about writers’ wacky dream projects. i love how many of us (all of us?) have a book idea that’s just zany and won’t let us go till we actually write it

Nosferatu was definitely a unique experience. Willem Dafoe was absolutely standing on business though.

I'm just now watching The Warrior. Ah Sahm is not written as well as I'd hope. How can you vow to destroy your sister after after she makes one mistake, meanwhile she offered herself in marriage to save you? Cmon man.

Does anyone have author recommendations that are similar to James S.A Corey or Brandon Sanderson? I'm absolutely enthralled with them both but I ran out of literature 😮‍💨

Be sure to help those in need at Christmas — and if you're feeling extra festive, maybe dismantle the systems that create and perpetuate poverty.
