Finally got color on this sketch from actual years ago
A bit of new art for the book! A subterranean pegasus species who've adapted to live in the depths - Crevasi. Their wings have been repurposed as extra limbs and they create their own dim light by which to see. They have an extra set of eyes and grippy, multi-toed feet.

I want to get more comfortable with color and carving out forms without relying on lines. There's nothing wrong with drawing, but practicing painting is def a goal.

My horse is the max combo of smart & emotional, which translates to "Hi, I'm going to be extremely dramatic about how I process what you just told me to do but also I'll learn it 3 seconds flat and then can apply it to everything else." Every ride is dang a therapy session 😂
