GTAV is on the list. In fact GTA 3 and GTA V are the most landmark games for the entire genre.

Also that just means you don't like open-world games, why are you having an argument about whether it's a good game? I prefer Saints Row and I'll still say GTA is very important to every game in the genre

That's kinda like giving the Quake franchise shit because John Carmack was too busy revolutionizing game engines to make the story actually good. GTA3, GTA SA, GTA4 and GTA V are all landmark games for open-world sandbox. If you think other games did it better, you have to remember they came after.

As far as I know, it's not about the money, it's about the fact that art itself is a bar to entry to almost every creative project you can make and to them, you're essentially standing in front of them saying "You can either spend 10 years learning how to do this or you can pay me 5000$ to do"

Also this specific idea has been pushed by EA since like 2012 but I think they questioned the legality of it and never went through with it

My guess is like 33 because you were making professional quality Game Grumps animations 11 years ago so you were probably a newgrounds animator before that and all the newgrounds animators are pushing 40 but you're not in the OG bunch so you're a bit younger, and lythero is 36 so that's close enough
