As the Ingham County Clerk, I've been a fierce defender of what’s right my entire 18-year career as a public servant – and I’m taking my passion for safe, secure, and accessible elections to the next level.

Several dozen key leaders from across the state have joined Team Byrum!
I’ve been traveling all across Michigan to speak with anyone and everyone about becoming Michigan’s next Secretary of State, and I’m just getting started!😉

September is already over and I am sitting in my basement doing fundraising calls! If you have the means, please consider joining the campaign secure.actblue.com/donate/byrum...
Coffee meetings have to be some of my favorite for the campaign. You get a chance to have a more down to earth conversation and caffeine is so necessary, right now.
The Cheboygan County Dems came out today with palpable enthusiasm! Thrilled to have some new members of #TeamByrum today!
Northern Michigan is a great place to be in the fall and tonight in Presque Isle is no exception. The colors and tides are starting to turn!
The temperatures may be lowering, this week, but the spirits have never been higher on Team Byrum, after going to the Berrien County Democratic Picnic.
Community centers, libraries, even the local watering hole. I'll go anywhere to meet residents who want to talk about the future of the Secretary of State's office. Today #TeamByrum was in Otsego County!
One of my favorite things from the trail is running into old friends, like former State Rep Mike Huckelberry, who I saw at the Montcalm CountyDem Party, this evening!
Spent the morning with the men and women of the 12 Congressional District Democratic Party. These residents of western Wayne and southern Oakland County were a great crowd and had lots of good input about the race. Thanks to UAW 600 for being amazing hosts!
I've said over and over that political violence has no place in our country. What happened today in Utah is a tragedy and no matter what you may have thought about Charlie Kirk, absolutely no one deserves this. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
Picnics like the one by the Redford Democratic Club are a great opportunity to meet and speak with voters and have important small group conversations!
Wrapped up my UP week with the Marquette Dems and Northern Michigan University Democrats with a welcome back social!

These Wildcats are excited for the new school year and had lots of questions about voting while they are on campus.
They had questions, I had L'Anse-rs! Another great Q&A with voters in Baraga County this afternoon!
First stop of the day is Dickinson County with a delightful coffee meet and greet with the County Democrats in Iron Mountain! What a great and energetic crowd!
From Mackinac to Menominee, Team Byrum hit both ends of the UP today.!Every mile logged is worth it to talk to amazing folks about what they want to see from their next Secretary of State.
Always a great night in Sault Ste Marie! The Chippewa Dems are fired up and ready to go! The UP Tour continues tomorrow in Mackinac and Menominee!
Delta County knows how to turn up and turn out! Met some amazing activists and added some new members to Team Byrum tonight!

Thank you Oceana County Democratic Party for the opportunity to attend your Just Desserts Friend-Raiser at Cherry Point Farm & Market. I enjoyed meeting so many of your members and listening to their thoughts about how to keep our elections secure.
So after I left, I joined the picket line and marched with the Teamsters Nurses Local 332 to demand fair pay and improved nurse to patient ratios for the dedicated nurses of Henry Ford Genesys in Grand Blanc.
I had the honor to walk in the Detroit Labor Day Parade with the brothers and sisters of the Pipefitters UA 636 and see so many other friends in labor.
But today is not just about marching in parades and waving, but about marching to stand up for workers' rights.
