Fun Friday evening of gaming yesterday….

@brotherwisegames.bsky.social can you use atium tokens to put on a card that already has a token on it to make it a plus steel or whatever metal you used? Or does it have to be an atium card to pair with it?

Just finished our first play of Mistborn the Deckbuilding Game from @brotherwisegames.bsky.social.

Fun spin on deckbuilding that was done very well thematically. We are such big fans of the series, so this was a must buy.

I think fans of the books will enjoy it. Eager to give coop a try next.

Saw a young adult browsing the library and asked if I could help them find something.

YA: "I'm trying to find 1984 - is it banned?"
Me: "Let me search for you. Also, fun fact, our library is a Book Sanctuary, which means we will never ban books here."

Felt good to say that. Wish I didn't have to.

Embiid era as we knew it over?

Borrowed Call to Adventure from a friend because my wife had wanted to try it for years. Theme never spoke to me (despite now enjoying fantasy books).

Was definitely better than I anticipated but the card draws also felt too limited at two players. I liked the rune rolling though.

Tyrese Maxey getting in some post-practice work with Ricky Council. He’s also gone up and down with the player development staff. We were told a Friday he would be re-evaluated “early next week.”

Fun day of gaming with friends yesterday! Five games in about seven hours. Clank! Catacombs the favorite for me on the day.
