I kinda feel like relying on the birthplace of colonialism and two of its settler states to defend less powerful nations is setting yourself up for disappointment
Well it is an enormous boot up the arse of Europe (as geographically defined) that the USA has joined the enemies of democracy. Europe, Canada and Australia, plus a few smaller states now must unite and be capable of defending democracy and the rights of small nations to self determination.
