The nickname "Little Billy Biter" for the blue tit is a regional term, primarily in the south-west of England, which originates from the bird's defensive behavior when its nest is disturbed.

The association between robins and the Oak King is rooted in Celtic mythology and Pagan lore. The robin is the bird representation of the Oak King, who battles the Holly King (represented by a wren) for dominance at the turning of the year.

‘The Saddest Show on Earth’ exhibition opened at The Vaults in London in March. The collection was then showcased at the Royal Society of Arts in London for 2 months and is now making its way to Dubai for the next leg of the tour.

Here is a photo of me with the namesake painting of the collection.
