Life with a bathrobe is better
88 foot flagpoles is a dog whistle of biblical proportions.
MAGA is just a white supremacy death rattle. That's all, nothing deeper.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Hitler had a large ball room/ reception hall built at the Old Reich Chancellery in Berlin This was part of a major renovation of the building after he became Chancellor. It was designed by Albert Speer and completed in 1939
Mmmm, okay I can understand this. I just posted how I see AI as a useful calculator for my own ideas, but that's only because I know how to process my ideas without it. Until one develops core competency for critical thinking and goal-setting, outsourcing those skills is a detriment.
7. the kinda appealing, but substantively indefensible, idea that somehow AI is different to other technology, like calculators, in a pedagogical context — but we totally ban a great deal of technology in the classroom.

Speaking of energy-draining... I'm not forgiving the horrible impact it has on the environment, nor the frustration generative AI causes the artists that are having their work stolen, but I think, if used responsibly, AI does have potential directly proportional to the intention behind its use.
That alone saves me a cognitive truckload of resources I would've spent transcribing and planning, so now I can actually implement the ideas I had without worrying about the arduous, energy-draining task of sifting through them myself.
I have lots of gripes with AI, but I think there's potential for it to be similar to a calculator, but for ideas. Like, calculators don't take the place of accountants and AI won't take the place of humans, but having AI loosely summarize a 25-minute ramble into bullet points is insanely useful.
Casual reminder that we don't *need* Mike Johnson to give her the oath. Not only is it allowed but there is precedent for a federal judge to swear reps in, especially if the reps can't make it to the formal ceremony. The Speaker does not have explicit control over the process.
"War-torn," huh? Pretty sure somewhere "war-torn" wouldn't have a quarter mil of people in one spot without incident 🤷‍♂️
Alabama??? This is so encouraging.
Deep red Alabama is out for No Kings Day!
Hope is the point.
notice the general mood of the timeline? how everyone is in a good mood and there’s a lot less misery and dooming? how there’s a lot of “we’re going to beat these assholes”?

anyway that’s why these events are important
Holy shit.
Hell yes, Pittsburgh. Love Yinz. No Kings.
Just left the Farmington, CT #NoKings protest and I haven't felt this much hope in a long time. This is a largely suburban town. Many of these people are old. Many are young. Many probably had other things to do but they still came out. I'd be shocked if there weren't at least 1200 people there.
At this point it just seems like he's going to hang out with Putin
I love CT 🙂
