I'm hoping Wolves was just a bit of mental fatigue from the derby and potentially even a little bit of arrogance and thinking it's done at HT. We saw us scrap past Southampton 3-2 before beating Madrid and City in the following days, so I'm not worried about that performance in isolation.

Useful that they're a very emotional side and fanbase too. If we win during a weekend where they drop points, they'll go in to total meltdown. Hopefully Nottingham Forest do their Robin Hood tribute act and grab a point or three against them.

My reckoning is that if we got into the international break with an 8 point lead then we're unbelievably well placed. So that allows us a draw in the next 4 on the basis that Arsenal drop against Forest/United/Chelsea.

My favourite/least favourite stat is that Unai Emery has only won a single game against Liverpool. It was, of course, the Europa League final.

Besides that, there is no team he's managed 10+ games against that he has a worse record against. Managed to win myself over in the end.

I was thinking this recently but wasn't sure if the contract situation was clouding my view. I think it's partially down to him not being as emotional on the pitch. Never in a million years does he do what Jones did with Doucoure, for instance.

Good new video on LFCTV with Gravenberch. Can tell he's obsessed with the club and the fans. Enjoyed seeing him recalling the atmosphere vs Brighton and the Allez Allez Allez in the League Cup final. Only been here 18 months but he really gets the club.
