Adami is no longer Hamilton’s race engineer, moving to a new role within the team. The split makes sense, there was a clear disconnect. Ferrari is making big structural changes, curious to see how it plays out.

Pressure lap coming up for Norris. His first time’s been deleted, and he needs a solid lap to make Q3 and avoid creating a headache for tomorrow.

Hamilton just needs to get through the next week and reset over the off-season. The Ferrari move is quickly turning into a nightmare, and I’m not confident the Scuderia can produce a competitive car for 2026. Tough times.

Got to say, I’m not sure these sprint races are bringing anything to the F1.

Pretty uneventful sprint race, but Norris and McLaren won’t care. If my maths is right, a win tomorrow would be enough to seal his maiden championship. Max and Red Bull just don’t have the pace right now.

Breaching the minimum plank wear is usually a slam dunk. Huge for Verstappen - he’d claw a massive chunk out of Norris’ championship lead. But even with a DQ, surely McLaren can’t lose it from here?

If Verstappen pulls off a podium, that would be a sensational drive. He’s had some luck with retirements, but to do it in a straightforward dry race from where he qualified? Outstanding. He just will not go away.

10-second penalty for Piastri! Feels harsh, especially given the leniency shown by the stewards in Mexico. Expect plenty of debate over this one.

Seriously unlucky for Leclerc, caught up in someone else’s incident. Interesting one for the stewards - probably a racing incident in my view.

That was an outstanding lap from Norris under pressure. Locked up and abandoned his first attempt, but pulled it out the bag on the second. Antonelli again impressive 👏

Hamilton’s qualifying struggles continue. He showed good pace in the sprint, but his qualifying form keeps putting him on the back foot.

If I’m not mistaken, that’s Verstappen’s first Q1 exit since Sochi 2021. He’s more than capable of turning it around tomorrow, but surely it’ll be damage limitation?
